The 14-10 Portland Trail Blazers went 2-2 final week, remaining No. 4 in a Northwest Division while improving to No. 6 in a Western Conference. The clever play during home, diseased play on a highway regulation warranted separate formula among a NBA Power Rankings, although Portland’s new home blowout wins over a Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Charlotte Bobcats, Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings have apparently sent John Hollinger’s statistical complement into a tizzy.
